I WRITE

Writing as a child led me to become an Author

"I thought that the title of writer or author belongs to people much cleverer than me"

Book Inside
I’ve written a journal since I was 13 years old. In those days it was about what happened at school, with my friends and which boys I fancied (who may or may not have returned the favour). All the years I kept a journal did not seem like writing as it was a record of happenings and feelings. I thought that the title of writer or author belongs to people much cleverer than me for this think Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters. I have a distinct taste for horror and ghost stories, so Denis Wheatley was my go-to. Although I always had a desire to write, I lacked to confidence to.

Fast forward more years than I care to remember, and the world discovered blogging and self-publishing and the fact that you can write about your passions and interests. What’s not to like about that. These days I find myself writing about confidence, public speaking, inspiration, and whatever else takes my fancy.

Do I publish it all? No. Some are still a work in progress, however, I have published a selection of my blogs here on the website and I am so proud to have some work published. The Clarity and Confidence Journal and a chapter in “The Empowered Woman’s Way”, both pictured below and available on Amazon (both pictured below). I am currently working on another little book “Recipes for Resilience” – watch this space!
