About Dawn Gregory

My family were born speakers

Ever had a defining moment that, in hindsight, shaped how you would move forward in life?

My story begins as a young child in Northern Ireland, being the youngest I had a great role model for a Grandmother and would sit at her kitchen table listening. She believed that I had talents I couldn't dream of.

I remember finding it hard to raise my young voice above the hardened speakers of my family in her small room - but I was listening and learning.

My family lived in Bangor, Northern Ireland and loved to debate, discuss and deliberate on the present and past events and - little did I know, I was already heading for a career in speaking.

My career even at the very start was people facing. As a young Belfast hairdresser, growing up in hard times in a split city, it was essential I got on with everyone. I ventured into Beauty, publishing, and before I knew it a life in educating students.

I loved learning and coaching, (I still do), helping people to rise up and believe in their own outstanding ability to have a voice that says This is me!

A Nervous Beginning
When I was 14 years old I competed in the local festival and was really very nervous and scared. I always was, however, I was more scared of letting my family and teacher down, so I never confided this fear and lack of confidence.

Since then many clients who contact me say they feel the very same way - and within what seems like a very short time leave, feeling they could confidently publicly speak in front of their guests, colleagues, and managers in any given situation including Internationally.
